surprise!

local filmmakers nick shelley and james shanning will screen their 25-minute film surprise tonight at the crest. 7 p.m.; $3 gets you in the door. the only description of the film that i've seen is as follows: "a film featuring local talent, surprise takes an interesting look at party conversations by eavesdropping on subjects from politics to candybars." i'd like to say i'm going to make it to the screening, but FFT's company car has been out-of-commission for months— i hope to report on the screening, pending rain and my willingness to brave light rail/bike it to the crest.
