mann enough

a couple more miami vice reviews. the first is a rave from new york magazine. the second, an uninspired bit from the uk guardian, which is a weak piece. it starts off discussing mann's testosterone-infused films, then goes on to refer to his style as "hyperrealism," which is anything but the case. bleh. the article gets better as it documents mann's biography, incuding a jury prize at cannes in 1970 for a short film.
