looks like everyone stuck around at home to watch football--a total bore. broncos lost, raider hopefully will win to tonight, and i'm about to lose my first fantasy-football match ever (unless antonio gates can get like three tds and 100 yards). oh wait, did i say i'm in a fantasy-football league?! nevermind, strike that, i never said it.
barnesyard got four of five in the box-office top 5, but only one in it's correct position (hollywoodland). i got five of five with two in the correct position (covenant and crank). neither of us were top-notch forecasters, but i'm going to have to declare myself the winner, natch.
the oakland a's won the the tampa bay road series 2-1 and start a three gamer in minnesota tonight. frank thomas homered again and tied a franchise record, homering in five straight games! playa!
