Frank Thomas signed a two year, $18 million deal with the Blue Jays today (with a $10 million option for a third year). That's some major cheddar for Frank, so props to him. However (and as DB pointed out), if you want to go play for some loser team in Canada, then so be it. He's "got" a ring. Let him leave.
This, of course, leaves Oakland without a DH ...

The money we spent on Frank can be better spent elsewhere. Namely: Barry! Barry! Barry!
I think if you can sign Bonds for a one-year, seven-figure, incentive-laden deal, it's worth it. (Jesus, I never thought I'd be in favor of Bonds joining the A's; I guess it's better than having him go to the Angels or another division/AL rival).
