Update from Marrs

At Marrs now, they have purple rocks.

Actually, I think it's like recycled glass or something. Either way, it's purple.

And on Second Saturday, they had this super annoying three piece rock cover band. I think I heard "Summertime Blues" three times while chilling at SN&R. I felt bad for the Alkali Flats, who had to compete with said supercovergroup.

Speaking of annoying development projects, the Rite Aid by my house is near completion. I'm thinking of a way to commemorate it's opening; some kind of bbq, dj party with some kind of football-in-the-aisles-drunk competition afterward just before it closes. Or perhaps something a bit more sinister.

I'll try to post a picture of the store tomorrow. It looks like someone took a shiny, Elk Grove dump on the corner of J and 48th streets. Thanks Mr. Petrovich, thanks.
