Beer me, don't fuck me over

For those who follow news at the Capitol, did you see this? Assemblyman Beall, a San Jose Democrat, wants to raise the beer tax by 1,500%!! This means a six pack would cost you $1.80 more! Right now, we pay 2 cents a bottle; the new tax would increase the per-bottle cost by 30 cents!

Dude, I know alcohol's not good for you, but c'mon ...

... then again, this might put me off beer and onto red wine for good.
