Huston "the Sprinkler" Street pisses on lame S.F. Giants fans; alt A's fans high on snap, crackle, pop own AT&T Park for the weekend

The clock struck 10pm at AT&T Park. Huston Street was on the mound, mid-wind-up, and then the sprinklers came on. Never seen that at a game before.

And for the record: SF Giants fans are tools. They can't catch fly balls. They spend half the game at the concessions. They show up late, throw popcorn at each other. They boo their own players (sorry Zito). They're soft and lame.

Meanwhile, the A's fans killed. We were the minority, but the couple sitting next to me busted out 420 rice-krispy treats. Downed the puppy and it didn't kick in till the ride home. Feels like you're pulling hills the entire drive back to Sac.

AT&T Park is nice, but a bit too much like being at the mall. The Coliseum's kinda old-school—some might say trashy—but it's got more soul than AT&T'll ever have.

Coincidentally, I just watched the documentary "Up For Grabs" last night, about the two guys who "caught" Barry Bonds' 73rd home run ball. It's quite the ideal document of Giants fan toolery.

For me, it's simple with Giants fans: They just don't seem to care about the baseball.
