Kings draft point guard?
This analysis of the Sac King's No. 12 draft pick at Yahoo say they should take University of Texas point guard D.J. Augustin, arguing that Beno Udrih is not a starting point, but an NBA backup.
I don't agree; Beno can start.
That said, taking a point guard is a good pick. Someone who can ease into the season and run the point for 15 minutes a game by March.
Rajon Rondo and Jordan Farmar were 21 and 26 picks, respectively, in '06.
Nick Collison was a 12 pick in '03. Vladimir Radmonivic was a 12 pick in '01. Austin Croshere was a 12 pick in '97.
So yeah, don't get your hopes up, Kings fans.

They don't have time to get their hopes up, they're too busy bitching about a game they lost to a superior team that happened six years ago.
