Vegan Thursdays = mmm!
Yeah, so I know that I eat meat now, but I pretty much eat 99 percent vegetarian (except for that Corti's rib eye on Sunday ... moooo!). That said, vegan chef Josh Ploeg is taking orders on Wednesdays for food pick-ups on Thursdays. Here's his menu (looks tasty):
Veggie "Chkn" Pot Pies: $4
"Indian Calzone" with chickpeas, peppers, potatoes, peas, onions, spices in a jazzy masala sauce: $5
"Caribbean Calzone" with fried cabbage, spicy "beef", herbs, onions, peppers, black beans and pineapple: $5
Chili with beans and fake meat soup, moderately spicy and smokey: $3 (in the 16-20 oz. range)
"JP's Po'Boy" Fried Okra, Baked Tofu, Cole Slaw, Onions, Green Olives on a Roll with Cajun mustard-mayo and creole sauce sandwich: $5

Peach Turnovers for $2
Pumpkin-Chocolate-Pecan Little Bundt Cakes for $3
