At eerie alley with all the president's men chain smoking eating tempeh to evangelical emo
My very good weekend began late Saturday with a bike ride to Casillas on 16th to pick up some cigars, which I smoked later that day in the backyard with the neighbor. I won't buy cigars anywhere else--the folks at Casillas are exceedingly generous, and there tobacco is both flavorful, aromatic and affordable. I got 7 cigars for 18 dollars. Very reasonable.
Went and saw Mt. Eerie at Fools and there was a solid turnout. Left briefly to go grab a beer during Jason R's set, which I couldn't get into. Kind of like some evangelical emo with him playing a nylon acoustic a top a chair singing about road trips and hugging. Great voice, talented ... but meh!
Mt. Eerie was wicked, with Phil (Phil!) playing an Ibanez (?) and a very hardcore, hard-rock and almost metal setlist. About 50 were there, mostly 18-25 year olds.
Did you see that Miami/Chicago match Sunday morning? Talk about a game of mental errors. I won my fantasty game, which I could give a shit about, but I'm not much of a winner (or a fantasy baller), so when I win I feel like I have to give it up.

Dude if you are talking about our fantasy BB league watch out you have some stiff competition and you WILL care. RM
Actually, I was referring to my football team. I can't really get into our bball league yet, firstly because of auto-draft (though I dig my team), but mostly because I don't understand (or really like) the scoring format. We need to have a Fantasy watch-a-game party to build camaraderie. Either way, I'll step it up; I'm prepared to DO-MI-NATE!
