Someone hit FFT today searching for "godard barthez big mac." I find it difficult to rationalize such a Google search, but oh well.
I've been really slammed but I'll try to get posting.

Looks like Piazza is pretty much a done deal. I like it, but it worries me, since it took Kendall a year and a half to acclimate to AL pitching. We don't have that kind of time with Piazza. Beane pulled off a GREAT deal in getting Alan Embree, which will add an excellent left-hander to the bullpen and free up someone to move to the rotation.
I also read they are going after Cliff Floyd. Gonna be a lively clubhouse next season.
Piazza: one year, $8.5 million. Hmmm ... better than him going to Texas. I like the Embree signing; he'll be a great veteran lefty to complement the Duke (yes, I'm a Duchscherer hater apologist).
