So Amick over at the Bee is reporting that Scott Brooks, the Kings assistant last year, has the Maloof's blessing and could be a top candidate for the job.

I'm not sure what to make of this: I've heard Brooks on Sportsline and know that he is well admired by both peers and journalists alike. But does he have the respect of his players.
