Life on Marrs (fo real)
So, there's some life on Marrs now beyond your Sol-Dub gallery and contention of construction trucks making bad parallel-parking jobs. Here's a rundown:
Luigi Slice: I snuck in last night, took this photo, ate a slice of cheese on the house and had a beer. Cheese runs $3 a slice, beer comes in the pitcher though I don't remember what they had on tap. Place is big; larger than Uncle Vito's and destined to be packed. Don't know what the hours are but you won't catch me there on Friday or Saturday nights I'm certain.
Azul: Azul is a taqueria and "tequila bar." It is on the other side of the Marrs entrance and should be open in two months.
Peets Coffee: They'll be two Peets on J Street by the end of the year: One in East Sac on J and 36th, the other right here on J and 20th streets.
Interstellariffic, right?
